# Certification Process ## What the certification covers By completing certification, you’ll demonstrate that your integration can: - Handle the areas of the API you have implemented correctly. - (Optional) Receive and process webhook events correctly. - Handle errors gracefully. - Operate reliably in the sandbox and during the pilot phase in production. ## Client & Contact Details Before we get started, please complete our certification & onboarding form, so we can support you during testing and beyond. We’ll need the following: - Your Company Name - Primary Technical Contact (Name, E-mail, Phone number) - Backup Technical Contact (Name, E-mail, Phone number) - Operational Contact (day-to-day contact) - Expected Go-live Date (will be discussed as part of the onboarding process) - Areas of the API you have implemented or plan to implement. ## Authentication & Security Requirements To ensure data security and access control: - All API requests must use HTTPS (except in sandbox) - Authentication must be via your assigned API credentials (API Key) ## Certification Test Plan Based on the implemented features, we will run through the flows that call our endpoints with you and verify various cases, such as: - Submitting a valid enquiry - Submitting an enquiry with invalid data (e.g. past date) - Retrying an enquiry with the same idempotency key to see how it is handled - Receive and process a webhook (`quote.created`) Our team will review your responses and logs to verify everything is working correctly and as expected. ## Go - Live & Certification We will run through the certification plan in sandbox, if that goes well we will advance to the production pilot phase. After that has been verified we will issue you a certification. Some things to note: - Active monitoring of API requests will take place during the pilot phase to aid in identifying any issues early. - There may be some back and forth with development if any issues are identified. # Need Help?
